Hosting
This site runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS); images are delivered through Amazon CloudFront. To show the site and keep it secure, the server processes your IP address, browser type and time of access (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Server logs are deleted after [14] days.
Contact form and email
If you write to me, your name, email address and message are used only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and deleted when no longer needed.
Photo map
The map pages, and photo pages that show a location, load map tiles from CARTO and OpenStreetMap, so your browser connects to their servers and they receive your IP address. Maps load only on those pages. "View on Google Maps" links open Google Maps in a new tab; nothing is sent to Google until you click.
Fonts
Fonts are served from this site's own server. No connection to Google or other font services is made.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no tracking cookies. Visits are counted with Ahrefs Web Analytics: its script loads with each page, and Ahrefs receives your IP address and the address of the page. The chosen theme and language are stored only in your browser.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data, and object to its processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can also complain to the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
